Independent cultural places in Lima and in Peru still suffer conservatism from both public institutions and broad public. Operating most of the time without any external support and sometimes in almost confidential way, they have to face important economic issues. This special edition relates the story of two independent cultural spaces in Lima that we met just before they closed in 2013.
