Kiosko came out in the dynamic city of “oriente” Santa Cruz, from the dream of artists to promote the unknown contemporary art and develop artistic alternatives besides Fine-Arts academics in Bolivia. The project run by a female contemporary artist compiles exhibitions, lectures, debates, artistic residences with meetings of Bolivian and foreign artists. Facing an important transition with the end of international cooperation funding, and fully aware of economic issues, the place diversifies its activities, with a independent branch dedicated to creation and design services for companies, and also an art shop.
