Matik Matik is the story of a French guy who broke up with his businessman starting life and chose Bogota to run a place dedicated to his passion: music. The manager runs the place on his own, with obstinacy and taste programming electro acoustic music, free jazz, improvisation and every musical avant-garde from Bogota and other places. In four years the center became the unique underground music hall of Bogota focused on alternative music and new sounds in a country where mainstream is rumba. The passionate adventurer finally managed to democratize a niche culture in Colombia and intends to go further in his commitment, planning new types of collaboration with avant-garde musicians.
